While ISO/IEC and TIA standards allow for the use of patchsnoeren ranging from 22 to 26 AWG, our CAT6 U/UTP Slimline Datacenter Ethernetkabels can accommodate 28 AWG patchkabels. However, it's important to note that utilizing 28 AWG cables may result in higher attenuation, particularly at higher frequencies. To counter this, we recommend employing shorter permanent link lengths compared to traditional 24 AWG patchcords.

Efficient Power over Ethernet (PoE) Implementations

Our CAT6 U/UTP Slimline Datacenter Ethernetkabels are optimized for PoE applications, delivering reliable power and data transmission. We advise a maximum bundle size of 24 cables to restrict temperature increases within the cables associated with PoE deployments. Following the industry standard ANSI TSB184Alimiet, the maximum temperature rise is limited to less than 15 degrees Celsius above the ambient temperature for the central cable within a bundle.
